If You call your family in the Philippines for unlimited, better use “skype” in the Philippines and purchase an US online number and you can call 2 way for unlimited. They can call you to your home or cell (in the US) from the house, you can call them back from your cellphone or home phone any time. What you need in there is a dsl internet and a netbook or wireless skype phone. Cost is $2.99 for unlimited to US and canada and about $3 monthly online number total is $6 monthly. My wife use to bring the netbook or wireless Netgear Skype phone with her when going the mall, we can contact each other all the time using public wifi.
